KATA

NOTE: the katas below may not be YOUR specific kata ... see your instructor for your specific list.

For example some Schools/Dojos have a different kata list. Remember it is not the KATA but the understanding that makes your style QLK!

Also some QLK schools have their own variants of a kata ... again very legitimate but make sure you are doing the verison sanctioned by YOUR school.

NOTE: I have deliberately NOT placed the meanings of these KATAS on this website.

in fact what is posted here are the kids movements ... adults will be taught the real variations that are far more street effective

Why? Because I have no control over who downloads them and in the wrong hands the real stuff is DANGEROUS !

so we are not trying to be elitist nor deny knowledge but lets face it ...we do need to be responsible here ...

and kids - well they are kids (hey watch this is .. is not something we want to encourage)

 

... so to learn the real meanings you must COME TO CLASS! AND ask your instructor.
