ISN'T IT ABOUT TIME YOU START UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOU ARE REALLY DOING? Many people will give you lots of possibilities for the moves in a kata but unfortunately most of these are look alike moves! Worse yet these so called explanations flat out don't work on the street. And some (explanations) are so different than what you are actually doing in the kata that you can't even recognize the move as what you have been practicing.

The Problem with all these made up explanations is that they don't understand the rules of kata (YES there are definite rules! That all REAL older/ combat katas follow) Once you know the rules both the kata AND its real meanings, the moves you are doing make sense for self defense ON THE STREET! The Book is good but this DVD is better and shows you the actual examples that PROVE the rules are correct and SHOWS how to use these rules to unlock the REAL fighting meanings of the katas you have been studying.

WARNING This DVD explains and shows the brutal (destructive) reality of what is happening (in a Kata technique) and how a kata does its job! Therefore, this DVD is definitely not suitable for those too young to know when NOT to use this information. Please do not buy this if you are under age 21
