RULES

1) I ONLY teach what I can prove. Not things which I claim work because I say so, but because I have medical papers (from prestigious medical centers & textbooks) and proven principles of physiology and/or physics to back up what I say. Since I practice Medicine professionally (as a Nationally certified Physician Assistant and also as a professional martial artist, I deal with these principles everyday). I also encourage people to seek out the references I use and not only check up on what I say but to take the information the next step.
2) I do not demonstrate Knockouts. I will discuss how and why they work and the medical principles behind these techniques. But because ALL knockouts cause a degree of brain damage, I cannot in good conscience demonstrate something which I know will cause permanent damage for just the sake of money. The book I wrote on knockouts gives very detailed instructions should you need to use such. I will answer questions though. Just do not expect a knockout demonstration.
3) While I present material in lecture format, but my seminars are primarily hands on. Therefore, while it is not an absolute contraindication, I really do not like to have more than 40 to 50 people at a seminar unless arrangements are made for me to have some help teaching (one of my students). The purpose of this is mostly because I want the people at the seminars to really understand what I am teaching and to feel they really did get their moneys worth. Therefore, please contact me if you plan to have over 50 people and we can work something out. (I can arrange for one of my senior students to help or we can work out other arrangements)
4) I do not try to convert anyone to my style. What I teach are principles which will work in any style: Chinese, Korean, Okinawa and American. I teach enough hands on so you really understand what I mean and then let you take it back and enhance the style you are already doing.
5) I teach street rather than a tournament concepts. This means that much of what I teach would not be allowed in tournaments (examples; pressure points, poison hands techniques, launch point throws, etc.). I believe that martial arts is an art and a science, not a sport. If someone can gain from a tournament, then so be it. But in all fairness, that is not the format I teach from.
6) NOTE These seminars are PAID semianrs thus they are completely different than the FREE Bridge tours we put on every year ... see that section if you are interested in sponsoring a tour.
